Due to recent world events, it is with deep sadness that we must announce the cancellation of Llandudno Jazz At The Farm Festival 2020.
The delay in this announcement was due to our hope that rather than cancelling outright we could postpone until June 2021, keeping the line-up, ticket purchases and seating reservations in place, and removing the need for re-booking etc. Emails were sent to all ticket-holders asking their preference. The majority of responses were in favour of postponement to 2021 rather than flat cancellation. Unfortunately the uncertainty of our current situation means that the venue is unable to offer any guarantee upon the reservation of the proposed dates for a festival in 2021, and so we are forced to make a straight-forward cancellation. Thanks to all for your responses to the poll.
Full refunds will, of course, be issued to all ticket-holders by our online vendors, Ticketsource, over the coming weeks.
Of course, we are all bitterly disappointed that all of our hard work has come to nothing, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience, and to apologise for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause.
My colleagues and I will be keeping close tabs on the situation as it develops, as we are keen to continue with the Festival at some point in the future. However, we cannot make any decisions until we know more about how the ramifications of this global crisis will affect events such as ours, and indeed, live music in general.
We would like to thank all the patrons, musicians, staff and volunteers who have helped make our little festival one of the best in the UK with their support, warmth and enthusiasm.
We hope that you and yours stay well.
With my very best wishes on behalf of the LJATF team,
Dr Neil Yates
